Duration: 5-6 hours, 5 km.

The Rabot tourist cabin is the newest and most inpressive DNT cabin i Norway. 

On this trip we will hike through a rocky terrain to the Rabot tourist cabin 1200 m. asl. The cabin is located by the edge of the glacier Okstindbreen. The terrain is shaped by the glaciers movement and we will be pass moraines and big rocks the ice have been moving a thousand of years ago. All the way up you can see that the terrain is changing and you will get the feeling that you are travelling back in time to the Ice Age. We will have a short stop at Steinbua, a small cabin on the way up at approx. 900 m. asl. Finaly we will arrive at the Rabot tourist cabin, a price nominated cabin for it´s design.
